Friday night we went to Papa Randy and Mimi Donna's to visit. We hadn't seen them in quite some time. Zac had a blast. He loves the bike he went home with!
Saturday was our routine grocery shopping after dropping the kiddos off at Grandma Beth's. Then we headed over to Grandma Linda's for dinner to celebrate her birthday. With Ryan, his siblings, and their spouses and kids, there are 18 of us!!! 7 of which are grandkids! Christmas is going to be loud and crazy! The kids are so close in age (3 and under) they have a blast playing! We were so tired when we got home, we were in bed by 10pm!
Sunday we ran a few errands- easier said than done. We stopped at Kohl's and all we bought was a griddle. By the time we loaded the girls in the double stroller and Zac walked- I should have just ran in. It was tiresome! Then we had a roast dinner at Grandma Beth's.
Friday was Jessica's last day to watch the kids. We all had to pose for a final shot!
All in all, it was a good weekend.
Ryan and I have come a long way since our 1st date to the haunted houses on October 3, 1997! We were married on the beach in Maui, HI on July 14, 2004. We waited a little later in life to start a family, but can't imagine life without children. We have one son, Zachary who is absolutely amazing and changed our lives only for the better. We wanted our kids close in age, about 2 years apart. We were ready to add to our family when low and behold we got pregnant with TWIN GIRLS! We are excited and feel truly blessed about the upcoming arrival of our girls. Our family will be complete: 3 children under 19 months of age and 4 dogs!We hope you enjoy reading about the every day and special moments in our lives.
