Baby Boy & Birthday Party

Friday night I went to my friend Lindsey's house. She and her husband had exciting news to share- they were revealing the gender of their baby! She had a doctor's appointment earlier that day and had the doctor write the gender on a piece of paper. Lindesy's sister opened the envelope and read "It's a Boy!!!" It was great to share that moment with Lindsey, her friends, and family. Oh, I love babies! I'm so excited for them! Saturday, I had a cold and had zero energy. We layed around the house all day except to pick up Papa John's pizza for dinner. Gotta love the Customer Appreciation Day special! We did have a major milestone on Saturday, both Valerie and Vanessa said their FIRST words! Valerie said "Mama" and Vanessa said "Dada". How awesome is that?? Valerie was on the floor playing and looked up at me and said "Mama." I think she wanted me to pick her up :) Ryan was holding Vanessa and all of a sudden said "Dada!" I'm so glad Val said "Mama" first. Zac's first word was "Dada". So Val made my day!! I still wasn't feeling well on Sunday. But we had plans to go to my in-laws for dinner. We were celebrating Ryan's niece's 3rd birthday. Aunt Becca made a beautiful Barbie cake. I didn't take any pictures of the party, I am slacking. Besides, I think everyone is getting tired of me taking pictures all the time!
