The Bleess Family: Christmas Pics and Snow!

Friday we got our family pictures taken for Christmas. It was quite the experience! I made the appointment for Friday at 3pm, not even thinking Zac has preschool that day. I figured Zac could have a nap and the girls be fed before- oops! Zac gets out of preschool at 2pm! I just wanted them done while Ryan was on vacation. So that's where it all started... Zac therefore was tired when we picked him up. We went to my Mom's to finsh getting ready. I had one pair of black shoes for the girls and needed another pair. We went to Target in the morning and made the purchase. We got all ready and off we were! We get to the parking lot, I turn around to look at Zac and he's fallen asleep! So we're all in the studio, getting ready and I notice Valerie is missing a shoe. I asked Ryan to check in the car, figuring it must have fallen off there. Nope, not in the parking lot either. We conclude it must be at my Mom's house. We take the girls' shoes off for the pictures. After we purposely bought a pair because I didn't want them to look silly without shoes on!!! I really only wanted one family photo and one of the kids. I knew that might be asking a lot... and obviously it was! Zac didn't want to stand still or smile. Then he told us he had to go potty, Ryan took him to the restrooms (without the diaper bag) because they were in a hurry and Ryan thought they'd make it in time. WRONG! And it was #2! They come back and we have to put a pull-up on Zac in the studio room!Then like 5 minutes later we smell something awful. Yes, Zac went again! Poor guy must have had a tummy problem. After that, Zac had had enough. We tried to get the kids' shot, but he screamed, and he even growled at the photographer when she asked him to smile! It was hard not to laugh! So we told him to sit on the couch and took some shots of just the girls. We were all exhausted after that hour of craziness! I can't imagine what next year will be like when the girls are Zac's age trying to do this! Here's how they turned out:
