Girls Day!

Friday night I drove through and got dinner. I invited Aunt Kelsey over. Of course dinner came with some sisterly advice on life. I don't think any of it sunk in since she was texting her friend while I was talking! Saturday was a fund day. Of course I get up at 6:30am to take the dogs out and decided to stay up. I did my usual cleaning- bathrooms, dust, vacuum, sweep, laundry. Oh it's never ending. Then I met Melissa, Leann, and Lindsey at AMC to the "The Ugly Truth" with Katherine Heigl. I'm going to the early movie more often! We saw it at 11:00am and tickets were only $5!! Afterwards Lindsey had other plans, but the rest of us had lunch at El Maguey. We stopped at Party America so Melissa could get stuff for a baby shower she was throwing at work. I saw SpongeBob decorations for Zac's 2nd birthday!! Then we headed back to my house so Melissa and Leann could see the kiddos. Ryan survived the few hours I was gone! After the girls left we dropped the kids off at Grandma Beth's and did our usual grocery shopping. Quite an eventful day, haha! Sunday we relaxed until it was time to go to Grandma Linda' for dinner. It was quite the turnout. Cousin Jared and his fiancee wanted to see the girls and Uncle Nick brought his girlfriend over.

Time for an Update!

Wow! It's been a little while since I've added any posts. I guess working, taking 2 online classes, and having 3 kids keeps me busy!! Well since my last post, Ryan and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary!! It was on July 14th 2004 that we were "mauied" on the beach in Maui, HI. Absolutely beautiful. We can't wait until the kids are older and take a family vacation there. We celebrated last weekend. We dropped the kiddos off at Grandma Beth's and went to the grocery store- which is our normal Saturday routine. Then we went to dinner and a movie. May not be exciting to some, but when you have 3 kids under the age of 2, it was wonderful!! I never thought in 5 years of marriage, we'd have 3 beautiful children who are everything to us. Life is full of surprises! Let's see what else has gone on... I'm finished my online classes last week and am on a 3 week break until fall semester starts. It's been wonderful not having to do homework on the weekends! Oh and Ryan shaved Freddie and Zac's hair!! Freddie needed to get shaved and Ryan took it upon himself to do it. He's shaved him before, but he also shaved around his face, including his beard! Poor Freddie! Ryan shaved Zac on our anniversary. He got off work that day and decided to "clean-up" Zac's hair. Zac did have an appointment next weekend for a cut. Not sure what happened but this is the end result. When Ryan called me on the phone from my way home from work, I thought he was trying to get me mad on our anniversary. Nope when I walked in the door this is what I saw:

Back at Work and My Handsome Son

Here are some adorable pictures of Zac. He is growing up so fast! It makes me sad at times to see him getting so big. He's not a baby anymore (Well he'll always be my baby!) He had fun blowing bubbles at Grandma Linda's. He likes to help Mommy clean while wearing my shoes, haha! It worries Ryan, but Zac is still too young- I say he likes wearing my shoes instead of Ryan's because my shoes are smaller and fit Zac better! The next pic he decided to sit on top of the trash can lid! We bought him a T-Ball set and he loves it! He's going to be a baseball player! Today was my first day back at work since having the girls. I was fortunate enough to be able to stay home for 15 weeks. Time went by fast! I had over 700 emails to go through! I took me almost all day, I had an hour to spare. Besides there wasn't anything else to do since I was locked out of the main computer system. It was fine with me! Unfortunately we don't have access to the Internet, so it was rather boring.

4th of July 2009

We celebrated the 4th of July at my in-laws. We enjoyed chicken kabobs with rice, pasta salad, yummy red velvet cake, and Boston cream pie. We were deciding on whether or not to take Zac to see fireworks. We decided not to because by the time it gets dark enough, it's past his bedtime. Also we have to schedule everything around the girls' feeding schedule. So after we got home we sat on our front porch and watched fireworks for a bit. When the fireworks would go off, Zac would say "Pop! Pop!" It was adorable.
