Updates... Finally!

For those of you that follow my blog, you know that it's been a few weeks since I've updated it (until last night). I really do and try to update this once a week. It has just been so busy- the girls' turned 1, Easter, and a lot in between! You'd think since I'm home all day that I could find time to upload a few photos and recap the weekend. WRONG!! There is no free time for me whatsoever! Someone (meaning one of the kids) needs to be changed (whether it's a new outfit or wet or dirty diaper), taking Zac to go potty- now he wants to go in our bathroom (because he's a big boy now after all), feeding them, bathing them, and doing laundry, dishes, and generally picking up the house. That's my routine EVERY SINGLE DAY. Then right when I want to sit and relax, it's time to cook (well Ryan had been a great help and usually cooks) and I clean up, then it's off to work or class. I'm starting to get burned out on this schedule, but luckily my final is on May 10, yay! However, I decided to see if I can work those nights for the rest of the summer. On a side note, last weekend the girls began to have nasty diapers. I won't get into details, I said enough. We thought they ate too much food from Sophia's birthday party and then Easter. We waited a few days, still the same. We then bought a can of formula thinking maybe the whole milk was causing upset tummies. Still the same. Finally last Friday I called the pediatrician. The nurse confirmed the stomach flu was going around. The girls finally started to get better- or so we thought. They finished the can of formula on Sunday and have had milk since. Ryan left me a note saying the girls each had 2 messy diapers. I'm going to call the nurse again tomorrow and ask them if it's a possibility that the milk is causing this. They've had milk before, but we were alternating formula and milk every other feeding so they could get used to it. We'll see what they say.
